EVENT & RSVP GUIDELINES
Please be advised that the LACA has a strict RSVP policy. The following are a few of our important guidelines to follow for all meetings and events.
- All meeting attendees are required to pay the stated fee for each meeting or event.
- It is the policy of the LACA to RSVP for all monthly meetings and other special events.
- When you are unable to attend a meeting or special event, you are required to cancel no less than 48 hours in advance, unless otherwise stated.
- No-shows, and those members who cancel less than the required notice, will be invoiced and subject to pay the stated amount and not able to attend future meetings until the fee is paid.
- Membership dues should be paid in full, no later than January 31st of that membership year.
- Generally speaking, RSVP is required by noon on the Friday BEFORE an event. Late RSVP acceptance is at the discretion of the hosting venue.
- Members showing up to an LACA sponsored event that did not RSVP may be turned away at the door if space is not available.
- LACA members ONLY are permitted to attend monthly meetings. Prior permission must be obtained for non-members to attend.
- Sponsoring Members must RSVP the “Registered Member” of the LACA at all meetings and events. You may bring on other person with prior permission with you, and they must be a representative of your company. If the Registered Member is unable to attend, the attending guest must be a representative from your company.
These guidelines have been put into place in order that the LACA will not incur unnecessary added expenses and to maintain our professional standing. Please make your best effort to always honor your reservations and RSVP’s even if they are not LACA sponsored events. In doing so, we will show that we take pride in being professionals and create a stronger and more influential stature within Los Angeles. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
