The historic Malibu Pier recently reopened after having been closed since 1995 because of storm damage. Visitors can once again enjoy fishing and fun on the pier, a perfect spot for watching the surfers on legendary Surfrider Beach. They can also enjoy the cocktails and fresh California fare at the The Beachcomber Restaurant, whose wood-paneled walls are decorated with Malibu Pier memorabilia. Start with cocktails at the Malibu Pier Club, The Beachcomber's sister bar and cafe, where the Tonga Lei Room is a monument to 50's Tiki Culture.
